THINKING • EXPERIENCE • PRACTICE

Some problems are worth the trouble.

My career has taken me across science, R&D, intellectual property, technology, and business strategy. What connects these experiences isn't a particular discipline or career path, but a persistent curiosity about difficult questions.

I'm drawn to challenges where conventional approaches fall short, assumptions deserve scrutiny, and a different perspective might reveal possibilities others have overlooked.

MY JOURNEY

A career made of crossings

My career hasn't followed a single discipline or a predetermined path. Science, intellectual property, R&D, technology, portfolio management, and strategy have intersected along the way—each adding another perspective to what came next.

HOW I APPROACH PROBLEMS

Not every problem is the real problem.

Before searching for solutions, I question whether we're addressing the right problem—or whether there's a problem at all.

What appears to be the problem may be only a symptom of something deeper. Asking better questions, challenging assumptions, and understanding the surrounding system can reveal what actually needs attention.
